Product launch: Online requests

AutomationsCommunications
  • LaunchOnline requests: patients send a refill, a transfer or a photo of a new prescription from a page on your pharmacy’s own web address, with your logo and colours. Each request gets a reference number, photos are stored encrypted, and with PharmaTools Messaging the patient gets a confirmation text and a text when it’s ready. Texts never name a medication.
  • ImprovedCommunications: Patient requests takes the place of the AI Inbox, with online, phone line and text line requests in one list marked New, In progress or Ready.

Product launch: Campaigns

Communications
  • LaunchCampaigns: one text to every patient who opted in, from prepaid credits at $0.06 a text and no monthly fee. Lists and smart lists, consent tracked for Canada’s anti-spam law, contact import, quiet hours, a report of who it reached, and automatic texts like a birthday hello or a flu season reminder. On its own it’s outgoing only, with an opt-out link in each text; with Messaging, patients can reply.

A rail that names every module

EverywhereTo-dosNarcotics
  • NewThe rail now shows a short name under every icon, grouped into communications, operations and compounding. The PharmaTools logo takes you Home.
  • NewEach page’s menu is joined onto the rail, with its main button at the top. Module settings moved into Settings.
  • ImprovedRest on a rail item to jump straight to one of its views.
  • ImprovedThe To-dos panel opens on Everyone, folds Overdue away, and only assigns a task when you @name someone.
  • ImprovedNarcotic reconciliation: start a reconciliation when you’re ready to count, and give each drug its own start date.

RxLink gets its own page

RxLinkCentral FillMaster formulas
  • NewRxLink is one page for your pharmacy network: partners for messaging and fax, Central Fill partners and contacts.
  • ImprovedRemoving a partner also closes their Central Fill paperwork.
  • NewIngredient search now includes natural health products (NPN) from Health Canada’s LNHPD.
  • ImprovedThe master formulas list gives the product name more room.

Compounding records, refined after testing

Compounding recordsMaster formulasCentral Fill
  • NewAn Adjustments step records anything added while mixing, with its lot and photos, phone included.
  • ImprovedThe beyond-use date follows the shortest-dated lot you use, and says so.
  • ImprovedPackaging, label fields and sheet text save as you go. Change a method line right where it is on the Mix step.
  • NewDelete a record that was never approved, or void an approved one with a reason. Ingredient photos are deleted 7 days after approval.
  • ImprovedMaster formulas: one sign-off (Drafted by, then Developed & completed by), move ingredients and method steps, correct a version without starting a new one, and delete an unused formula.
  • ImprovedThe method is built from your formula. AI can write it fresh or polish your wording, with Undo.
  • ImprovedCompounding profile: each room says how its containment device is vented, and devices offer their whole product line.

Product launch: Compounding records

Compounding recordsMaster formulas
  • LaunchCompounding records: prescription and batch records made from your signed master formulas, with a PPE self-check, weighing with lots and photos, the formula’s method, Rx labels and pharmacist approval.
  • ImprovedThe compounding method is built from the formula, with a technique per route and steps grouped by room.

Risk assessment and SDS improvements

Master formulasForms
  • ImprovedPPE chips show how many ingredients call for each item, and open the reasons grouped.
  • ImprovedQ9 guidance matches NAPRA, and a Table 1 drug is never Level A.
  • ImprovedSafety data sheet evidence explains its category numbers and reads each supplier’s sheets properly.
  • ImprovedForms: safer texting, signing on paper, and a fax line of its own.

Easier master formulas

Master formulas
  • ImprovedCleaner tables, tidier mixing steps, grouped approval and a one-column risk assessment.
  • NewHand a formula off to a pharmacist, import a formula sheet with AI, and use q.s. amounts.
  • FixedDrafts with a long catalogue description now save. Search no longer blanks the master formulas page.

Product launch: Forms

FormsCentral FillMaster formulas
  • LaunchForms: patient forms built from blocks or the standard Frequent Dispensing form, sent by text, QR code or in store, signed on the patient’s phone, with renewal reminders.
  • NewCentral Fill partners: share any document, sign the partner agreement, and fax the OCP notice from PharmaTools.
  • NewMaster formulas: a record link you can share, verification, retiring, history and printing.
  • ImprovedCompounding setup: route templates, a guided profile, and PPE worked out per preparation.
  • ImprovedConfirmations now appear in PharmaTools’ own dialog.
